My cake was absolutely stunning, beautifully crafted and even better than I imagined. I ordered red velvet with a cream cheese filling, and it was incredibly delicious. The Swiss meringue buttercream was silky smooth and perfectly balanced. I also really appreciated how the design was thoughtfully customised to suit what I wanted. Huge thanks to Stella for being so accommodating and making it all come together so perfectly.

The cake was so beautifully presented. I really loved the designs and colours of the cake. The icing was really delicious and buttery. The jam filling was really good but i wish the cake was more spongey rather than crumbly inside . Overall I really loved it.
This cake was the star of the show, besides the birthday girl ofc hehe! Everyone who walked past it stopped and admired the craftwomanship and then at the end of the evening when we sliced it I saw more than one person scraping their plate for the last bit of crumbs and icing. Such a beautiful cake! Honestly the photos do not do it justice. Was easy to order and customise online and pick up was seamless. The cake itself was soooo good! My daughter (and all her friends!) loved the cake. Communication was excellent - I forgot to add writing on my cake and Stella got in touch to sort it. I ordered the Earl grey and strawberry compote Mia for my birthday as I had been eyeing up these vintage cakes since last year. Delivery went smoothly, and it was so delicious! just needed a little more time out of the fridge for the buttercream to fully soften as it was a cold and rainy day. Everyone was gushing about how gorgeous it looked!

I have ordered from sugar three times and each time Stella has truly exceeded my expectations. The cake was perfectly moist, with just the right amount of sweetness. The piping on the cake was seriously impressive! It was so neat and detailed, adding a touch of elegance. The swirls and rosettes were perfectly done and the buttercream was a silky smooth consistency. For my second order I requested if she could add black bows to the edges if possible, to my surprise she did! this matched my birthday theme perfectly. Overall, this cake was a masterpiece that I would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. Whether for a special occasion or just a sweet indulgence, it’s definitely worth trying!

I had been looking for a place that made vintage heart cakes in Auckland and by chance From Sugar showed up in my suggested explore feed on instagram. Ordered a gorgeous Mia cake that fit perfectly to the theme of my birthday and got the banana cake flavour with caramel filling and it was the best cake I’ve had in a long time! The order to pick up process was nice and easy and it wasn’t long until the cake ended up getting demolished at my bday party. 10/10 would recommend.
